3 For a Fresh New Summer Glow

More glow for summer? Groundbreaking!

Every season is glow season in my book, but especially summer. Let thy natural oils shine through, and top it off with even more glow because why the hell not?

A Fresh New Summer Glow ft. Burberry Beauty

A primer that is 55 percent water means one thing: a hydrated glow. And, when we’re not Chasing Liberty, aren’t we all chasing a glow? The formula is infused with pearls to help blur minor imperfections while giving the skin a shimmer free luminosity. Mix it in with your foundation or use it solo dolo on the skin before foundation (or tinted moisturizer) and your skin will be ready, set, glow. No.1 gives the skin a nude radiance, perfect for light to medium skin. While No. 2* gives the skin a more golden warmth, perfect for deeper skin tones, and if you’re like me and searching for a golden warm glow that doesn’t look orange (hey, Trump).

They say it’s all the in the details, and the same is true when it comes to highlighting. This highlighting pen* is a quick and foolproof way to add a glow to harder to reach areas of the face like the inner corner of the eyes, under the brow bone, and the cupids bow. The creamy formula glides on easily and adds a glow that looks luminous and radiant, but not glittery or shimmery. Basically, it’s a great way to satisfy a 90s glitter obsessed child that still wants to glow, but is simultaneously juggling the task of adulting so glitter is no longer appropriate. *sad face*

A powder highlight that isn’t powder is all a girl can wish for. I want to reflect, not look caked-not-to-the-nines. Luckily, this highlight in Rose Gold* reflects all the light while having a translucent base so it won’t look like you just brushed some baby powder mixed with rose gold dust on your face because that has happened to me before, and it was was no bueno.

These look amazing! The primer sounds wonderful although most primers break me out :/ I’m loving the look of the highlighter though!

  • I haven’t tried anything from Burberry, but I would love to. Glad you like these. http://www.mrsqbeauty.com

  • Oooohh! Honestly I don’t wear highlighter every day and I’ve got a few that I just stick with but I am really tempted by that Burberry one because the design of the surface of it is SO pretty and the packaging looks weighty and beautiful so I am pining for it a little bit even though I know I don’t need it, haha.

  • Burberry is one of my favorites! Thanks for sharing with us.
    Isn’t That Charming.

Ahhhh I love your blog. So beautiful!

Okay, now that I wiped the drool off..

I wasn’t a fan of the luminous base – too watery. Ended up looking streaky and weird on me. I tried it every which way and still couldn’t make heads of tails of it. Perhaps I’m not enlightened enough!

I DID love the powder (surprisingly) and the cream stick was as divine as I imagined.

  • I LOVE Burberry beauty! They have amazing products!

    Have an awesome day!
