5 MAC Blushes for Medium Skin

5 MAC blushes for medium skin

Do you remember the first blush you ever purchased? Mine was MAC Margin, and boy did I love that blush! Since then, I’ve tried blushes from several different brands, but MAC still makes most of my favorites simply because they have an amazing color selection. Plus, the formula is pigmented, blendable, and applies smoothly on the skin. These 5 MAC blushes are my favorites, but they definitely have loads more that are perfect for medium skin!

Melba | a beautiful soft coral peach with a matte finish. I especially love this shade during the spring/summer.

Gingerly | a bronzey neutral with a sheertone finish. This is the perfect neutral shade when you just don’t know what to wear on the cheeks. It’s sheer in finish so you can build it up to the intensity you prefer.

Breath of Plum | a light plum shade that is especially gorgeous during fall/winter. It also has a sheertone finish so it’s buildable.

Warm Soul | a beige toned mineralize blush with gold pearl. This is probably one of the most loved MAC blushes out there because it’s perfect for so many skin tones and doesn’t require a lot of thought– perfect for everyday!

Petal Power | another mineralize blush that is a coral pink with golden shimmer running through it. This shade gives the skin such a beautiful flush and the golden shimmer really highlights the skin, giving it a natural radiance.

  • The first blush I ever purchased from MAC was Warm Soul and it is still to this day, one of my favorite and most used blush. Love Melba as well but I don’t have any of the other three. I will need to check them out as they are all so pretty and perfect for my medium/olive skintone. Thanks for sharing Hun! x

These are beautiful! I’ve heard mixed reviews about their blushes and was always worried about them working on me. I heard so many great things about Warm Soul as well, but didn’t the color/formula change recently? Someone told me that the newer version is mostly colored glitter now instead.

    • Hmm.. I’m not sure. I picked this Warm Soul up around a year ago and don’t find this to be just colored glitter. I really hope they didn’t change the formula!

  • Ooh I love MAC.. I could look at it, wear it and buy it endlessly! Beautiful post x

All of these blushes look absolutely stunning!

Love all the shades. They are stunning specially the shade Melba and warm soul. However I have to say, I so don’t like the new MAC packaging, it looks like a fake mac product you got off the China market haha.

    • Warm Soul and Melba are my most used :). LOL I can see that! The magnetic closure is really hard to open sometimes for me especially since I have long nails.

  • I need to add Breath of Plum into my collection, I don’t have anything like it. I love that it’s a matte blush too. I don’t even remember my first blush, back then I bought a blush because it’s the cheapest and not because it was good. LOL!

    • Breath of Plum is gorgeous in the fall/winter! LOL we all had those times in our life :p

  • Breath of plum and warm soul are right up my alley! I’m making a mental note right now for the next time I visit a Mac counter! :-)

  • Oh my, all of these look gorgeous! I have Warm Soul and it is probably my favourite blush everrrrr – I love it so much! I’ve never heard of Breath of Plum but wow it is gorgeous! I’m still on the hunt for the perfect plummy-purple blush! Love the look of Melba too, it’s been on my wishlist foreverrrr!

    • Definitely give BOP a go then. Love it especially for fall/winter! Melba and Warm Soul are my most used because they go with every kind of look!!

  • I think it was MAC Bad Girl Gone Good from Riri collection, my first blush I mean, I am pretty sure that I have purchased others before that but non of them rings a bell haha. ohmygosh ♥ lovin’ Petal Power! It’s been on my wishlist for the longest time!

To be honest, I don’t give much thought to blushes. I put on TheBalm’s Frat Boy all the time because the apricot-y shade goes well with pretty much everything!
