Boscia cleanser

[Available at Sephora and on their website]

I rarely hear anyone talk about this cleanser, or this brand tbh, but I have no idea why! It’s such an amazing gel cleanser that gets your makeup off, cleans the skin without drying it out, and leaves your skin feeling refreshed. Plus, it’s not super expensive, and you get a good amount of product. I dedicated a whole post to it. It’s that good.

Complex Beauty Afterglow complexion mist

[Available on their website]

You might be tired of hearing me talk about this brand, but I had to include them because I’m seriously so impressed. I’ve been loving their face masks (also some underrated products you need to try out), but their complexion mist really blew me away. In the words of Ronald Weasley, “it’s bloody brilliant.” It has really great ingredients like glycolic acid, vitamin c, lavender water, tamanu oil, pineapple and papaya enzymes, and like a lot more. It leaves my skin glowy and refreshed, and has helped fade some of my acne scars, making my complexion brighter and smoother. Seriously, love you. Mean it.

Lush Illuminating Primer

[Available on their website]

Did you know that Lush makes makeup? I knew they had some, but never knew they released an illuminating primer. Let me just put it this way, if you like to glow, run–don’t walk– and pick this up. I’m not a “yuuge” fan of the pot packaging since I prefer pumps, but I’ll overlook that because this is a gorgeous illuminating base. FYI, one of the last ingredients in this is methylparaben, and you know I try to stay clear of things with parabens, but I still really like it. I hope they find another natural preservative to use instead so I can love it even more.

Milk Face Gloss

[Available at Sephora]

Speaking of glowing, if you like a glossy glow, go for this face gloss. I MEAN– it’s a face gloss. Sure, I already smear my lip balm all over my lips and mouth/chin area (I know I’m not the only one), but this gloss was meant to be all over your face. It’s a thing. And, I’m all for it. I like to apply a tiny amount of this on the top of my cheek bones for a super dewy and shiny highlight, but add a highlight under this and bam girl, your face will be looking like a glazed donut. Bonus, it’s safe to use on the eyes so you too can achieve the supermodel approved glossy lid effect.

Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Serum

[Available at Ulta, Bloomingdale’s, their website]

I’ve only had this serum a short time, but boy it has become a favorite really fast. I never hear anyone talk about this, and I don’t know why because it’s amazing if you have blemishes. Every time I pick this up to use it, I look at it affectionately and burst into smiles. Weird, I know. But this guy got rid of the blemishes on my chin in 2 days, and they usually stay around for weeks. The scars the pesky pimples left behind are still there, but they’ve faded a lot faster than they normally do. Color me impressed.

  • Every time you mention the Boscia Cleanser, I’m so tempted to purchase it without making it go through my wishlist first! Also I’m sure why, but I thought Boscia was a very expensive brand! The Lush Illuminating Primer sounds really lovely as well!

    • Haha I hope you try it out! I always thought that about Boscia too, but it’s actually quite affordable compared to other brands.

  • Oh that cleanser sounds absolutely lovely…and you’re right….I’ve never heard about it before. I had no idea that Lush primer existed. I hope I can find it here in UK xxx

  • That milk face gloss sounds so cool!! I can’t wait for Milk to finally come to Sephora Canada.

  • I wish we could get Milk & Complex Beauty products over here! I haven’t tried this Boscia cleanser but love their Make Up Break Up Cleansing Oil xx

    Beautylymin

    • I got a sample of the Make Up Break Up! I want to get the full sized. I fell in love on first try :p. I hope you can get Milk and Complex Beauty soon!!

  • One day if I decide to make a Sephora order to the UK I’d love to try that Milk makeup gloss. Totally my kind of product. I’m also going to look up that complexion mist, very much sounds like something my skin could do with and I go through so many face mists – one of my most used products. Great post! :) x

    • I love face mists as well! I feel like I’m getting picky with them after using the complexion mist because it has so many good ingredients haha

  • The Milk Face Gloss sounds really interesting. I’ve been hearing lots of good things about that brand. I’d like to try that Boscia cleanser. I wasn’t really into that brand for any real reason, but I’m slowly realizing they actually have good products!

    Jenn │ Beauty by Jellybean

    • Girl same! I always kind of brushed over the brand when I saw it on Sephora and then I got a deluxe sample of their cleansing gel and I got HOOKED. Now I want to try more because a lot of their products sound really good!

  • Wait, a face mist that helps brighten the skin???? Sign me the fuuuu up! The Juice beauty serum sounds awesome too. If only I had easier access to those brands!!

    Tasha // shiwashiful.

    • Hahah right?? I love the complexion mist, but I feel like now I’ve become a face mist snob because a lot of face mists don’t have that many amazing ingredients in them. It’s my favorite especially before bed so I can wake up with glowy skin. It sucks that they’re harder to get. Hopefully you can get them soon!!

  • Louise Barbour

When the Lush Illuminating Primer was released I saw it all over instagram. I’ve been meaning to try it! I may just have to pick it up at the weekend.

    • I must have been dormant when it was released haha! I’m glad I picked it up because it’s so nice. I hope you give it a go!

  • I know Lush has makeup but never thought they would be good. I trust your recommendations though, Nida as I am a huge fan of the Biscia cleanser too and you’re right, no one talks about it. And Milk Face Gloss, I’m not sure if it’s genius or will it be too much but I’m going to check it out.

    • Haha I think for some like me it’s genius and others might hate it. I’m glad you agree about the Boscia cleanser. It’s so lovely!

  • Seriously I didn’t know that Lush also makes makeup! I should check it out the next time I’m in the store. Face gloss? I think I need something like that in my life :D x
