Do you ever become obsessed with certain makeup looks/products? I was obsessed with matte lips for the longest time ever and never thought I’d like non-matte lipsticks. But, things are bound to change, and now I’m obsessed with lots of different lipstick finishes. These are 6 non-matte lipsticks for spring + summer that won’t have you missing matte lips.
YSL No. 6 Peach Me Love. These YSL Volupté Tint-in-Oil lip stains are perfect for spring. Even when I wasn’t a fan of glossy lips I picked this up because I love the peachy pink stain it leaves behind. But now that I am a fan of glossy lips, these are just perfect! If you’re all about more nourished, juicy lips then give this a go. The oils in this leave your lips looking and feeling very hydrated and soft.
Marc Jacobs Understudy. This is my one and only Marc Jacobs New Nudes Sheer Gel lipstick, but I know I’ll eventually pick up more if my lipstick drawer can handle holding more lipstick. Understudy is described as a terracotta pink, and even though it’s sheer, it’s still pigmented. (review)
Clinique Melon Pop*. Another gorgeous peachy melon shade. This is pigmented, but still sheer and glides on nicely. I don’t own any other shades from the Clinique Pop Lip Color + Primer range, but a lot of their shades look like colors I’d enjoy!
MAC Razzledazzler. No lipstick list is complete without a MAC lipstick amiright? Razzledazzler is a light peach shade with a lustre finish so it’s more sheer than the average MAC lipstick you might be accustomed to, but it’s still buildable. Even though I love matte lipsticks from MAC, this has become a spring/summer favorite by far.
ColourPop Crunch. Can you tell I’m into peachy lipsticks for spring by now? Okay so as I’m writing this post I discovered that this shade has been discontinued and I’m so upset. It’s seriously such a gorgeous sheer coral shade that is seriously perfect for spring/summer and it’s only $5! I hope they bring it back!
