The great thing about makeup is that it always washes off so you can experiment as much as you want. I love trying out new products, but also new beauty tools. That’s where this eyebrow stencil, eyeliner assist, and lash applicator comes in.

Do These Beauty Tools Work? | Eyebrow Stencil, Eyeliner Assist, and Lash Applicator

I have pretty bushy eyebrows to begin with, which used to work against me when the overly tweezed eyebrow was in. But it’s been working in my favor now that the bushy look is kind of in. Still, my brows still have some sparse areas so I thought I would try out an eyebrow stencil. Albeit, this is probably more for someone who doesn’t have much of a brow to begin with.

I started wearing eyeliner on a regular basis when I was pretty young– about 14 I believe. I remember my family always thought I was super emo because I used to walk around with the thickest eyeliner that essentially gave me raccoon looking eyes. In reality, it wasn’t that I was going for the emo look. I just didn’t know how to properly do my eyeliner without making it too thick LOL. This eyeline assist is supposed to help anyone who struggles doing their eyeliner and getting the line straight and even.

I already talked about the Flirt Flashes Lash Applicator when I reviewed it, but I thought I’d include it in this video to show you guys how it works in action. Is it bad? No. In fact, it’s quite innovative and unique. But, sadly, it didn’t revolutionize the way I apply my lashes. I’m still an old school tweezer kind of girl.

Would you try any of these tools? Let me know in the comments below!

  • I’m definitely old school and still use tweezers, I cant believe I used to try and put them on with my un-coordinated fingers!

  • This was a fun vid to watch! The eyebrow stencil just made me laugh, haha. I remember that I did get some good ones from Sally Beauty before. At the time, I over-plucked my brows, so I used the as a guide of where I should and shouldn’t pluck next time, and it aided in where I should fill in my brows. Plus the kit came with a bunch of different brow shapes which was really nice. As for the eyeliner assist thing, I didn’t think it was that bad. Since it was written in Korean, it was probably made for more smaller eyes that asians have, haha. I don’t like thick liner, so I’ll probably pass on that one as well! Great post :)

    • LOL thank you!! Oh that’s a great idea to use the eyebrow stencil as a plucking guide!

  • I never reach for any stencils as they never seem to help :) The lash applicator is definitely innovative but again, it seems like more work hen just having strip lashes and pair of tweezers :) x

  • I always wondered about the eyelash applicator. I find that I can really only apply them with my fingers, not even tweezers, so I’d imagine I’d struggle quite a bit!

  • Hahaha! I am so happy that you took one for the team and tried all these on camera. I am in a FB Beauty group where a bunch of ladies went OMG about the Flirt Lashes applicator but to me I think it’s innovative as you said but it’s trickier to use in real life.

    • LOLOL thanks!! It’s certainly innovative! I’m interested to see how/if they upgrade this version.

  • I have very sensitive eyes and unfortunately I can`t wear fake lashes. I do curl them and that seems to make a difference, but that`s the only eye tool I use.

  • Thanks for trying these out for us, although I think I’m old school lol :D

The eyeliner assist does sound promising. I wish i could just blink and have perfect winged liner.
