Sun care every single day is the motto and Glossier Invisible Shield has been my current go to.
Glossier Invisible Shield
Summer = more sun. And the last thing you want is a thick, hard-to-spread sunscreen suffocating your face in the heat. I have been there and it’s not a good time. Enter a lightweight gel sunscreen with SPF 35 that looks like nothing, and better yet, feels like nothing. I usually use physical sunscreens, but this one feels so light and barely there that it’s what I’ve been gravitating toward when sifting through my skincare stash each morning. It’s the kind of easy everyday SPF that feels nice and works well under makeup, but it’s not one to choose for heavy outdoor activity as it’s not waterproof. It’s an everyday kind of thing. Bonus: it has an “antioxidant complex” of Vitamin E, Vitamin P, broccoli, and aloe leaf extracts to further protect your skin from free radicals. An extra bonus: it contains fermented yeast and vegetal extract that is supposed to form an untraceable barrier on the skin to prevent pollution from sneaking in– a huge plus, especially if you live in the city.
So, moral of the story: even though I’m generally a ‘physical’ SPF proponent, the look and feel of Glossier Invisible Shield is the reason it’s perfect for spring/summer and my go to everyday sunscreen. I’m even on my second bottle.
