I Hauled Way Too Much: A Memoir
My true nature as a bon vivant came out to play during Black Friday when all the beauty deals were too hard to pass up. There’s a lot I wish I purchased, but simultaneously, my beauty cravings are mostly satiated– for now.
I knew 1000% that I would be taking full advantage of the Neiman Marcus spend $200 get $50 off deal because this deal also includes beauty + fragrance(!!). Plus, eBates was offering 14% cash back, which is muy difficult to pass up. I decided to go ham and buy Diptyque Eau Plurielle Eau Parfumeé Multi-Use Spray, Diptyque Vetyverio, Grown Alchemist body cream, Byredo Super Cedar eau de parfum and the Byredo Burning Rose candle. The latter of which I couldn’t get out of my mind after Glossier came to Dallas and invited me to a couple events where the omnipresent scent of Burning Rose incessantly wafted through my nostrils. It was then that I knew I had to have it.
Speaking of Glossier, I also decided to buy 2 products from them during their 20% off sale and picked up the Moisturizing Moon Mask + Generation G Cake lipstick. I now have every single Gen G lipstick on the market other than Leo. Would you like a solo review on them? In short, I love these.
Originally, I was going to pass up the Space NK deal of buy one get 50% off, but then I decided I could use a few more treats before going on a spending ban, and decided to splash out on Diptyque Tam Dao and Byredo Tree House candle. I guess I was really trying to play my hand at luck with this order because I’d never smelled either of these scents, and Space NK doesn’t offer returns if you’ve opened the item. Luckily, they’re both wins + some of my fave scents from this haul.
