Toner— it’s the skincare step you’re constantly told to incorporate into your routine, but finding the right one that won’t strip your skin requires a Goldi Locks level of trial and error. Luckily, from time to time, your aggressive search for a toner that checks all the boxes pays off and you find a gem like the Laneige Cream Skin Toner and Moisturizer.
Laneige Cream Skin Toner and Moisturizer Review
For me, it merges multiple steps into one so if, like moi, you’re a lazy with combo skin that doesn’t always need a ton of moisture, it is a treasure. I generally use this on days when I don’t want to do a full routine. I’ll cleanse, pat this on, dab on some eye cream and lip balm, and call it a night.
Because of the milky, hydrating formula, I don’t usually put another serum or moisturizer on top, but I have done that for testing purposes, and it didn’t pill from any of the combinations of serums and moisturizers I paired on top. If your skin is on the drier side, which mine is come winter, you can pat on extra layers for added moisture and it won’t feel heavy. The end effect is skin that looks and feels plump, lush, moisturized, and soft. Velvet skin dreams check.
