Estee Edit product review

They say that Aquarians shy away from commitment. I can say that’s 100% true about me– especially when it comes to makeup. Sure, I repeatedly tend to veer towards the same brands when purchasing new makeup. This is why I have 100 MAC lipsticks and too many Hourglass powders to count. But, the beauty junkie in me is always ready to try new products and brands. That’s why I was super excited when I had the chance to try out some Estée Edit products.

The Estée Edit Roundup Review

Estee Edit Beam Team in Sheer Golden-Beige review

Estee Edit Beam Team in Sheer Golden-Beige

The Beam Team Hydrate + Glow is an illuminating moisturizer that you can use all over the face, mixed in with foundation or as a liquid highlight. Knowing me, and my love for the glow, you know I’m using this all. over. my. face. It is hydrating so it has been great for my combo skin and definitely gives me a glow! Something unique about this is that a little cream highlighter is hidden in the cap. Just flip the top open and apply the cream highlighter on the high points of your face.

Estee Edit Pore Vanishing stick review

Estee Edit Pore Vanishing stick

The Pore Vanishing Stick you can use as a primer to blur pores, alone, or on top to refresh makeup. I haven’t used it on top of my makeup, but I have used it under. It does blur the pores a bit and provides a smooth velvety canvas for your makeup to glide on top of. I don’t have oily skin so I can’t say that this keeps oils at bay, but it did mattify my skin. I like that this has a sheer pigment in the center (that supposedly fits all skin tones). It’s great for no makeup days when you want your skin to look nice, but don’t want to wear foundation.

Estee Edit Flash Illuminator in Day Light review

Estee Edit Flash Illuminator in Day Light

The Flash Illuminator is a highlighting cream and the different shades can be used for different purposes. I received the shade Day Light that works nicely as either a cream blush or a blush topper. I do think I’d prefer the shade Spotlight more since you can use that one for strobing.

Estee Edit Lipstick 05 In The Buff

Estee Edit Lipstick 05 In The Buff

The Barest Lip Color is a lipstick/lip balm hybrid. It gives a nice wash of color, and the muru muru butter and flower petal waxes leave your lips moisturized. The addition of the real flower petal waxes also gives the lipstick a beautiful floral scent, which I personally really love! I have the shade In the Buff, a brown mauve. I surprisingly really love this even though I generally don’t like brown lipsticks on myself.

  • I love the Pore Vanishing Stick! It actually made it in my July faves :) You should try the bronzer, it’s really nice and the compact is huge.

    • I saw the bronzer when I went to Sephora yesterday! It really was so huge haha

  • All of these products sound great! I’ve tried the Pore Vanishing Stick and I loved it. I really want to try more from the Estee Edit. The Flash Highlighter will probably be the next thing I try from them. Great post! :)

These are interesting…I’ve haven’t tried anything from the Estee Edit.
But that lip colour is beautiful!

  • In the buff lipstick looks so perfect for everyday. I may have to check it out. I haven’t tried anything from this line and I’m hesitant because I keep hearing mixed reviews!

    • I also hear really mixed reviews! I think the lipstick is definitely a good one to try out because it’s so hydrating and beautiful. I also love the Flash Illuminator and Beam Team, but I’ve heard mixed reviews on those depending on skin type. I have combo skin and love them!

  • In the Buff looks very brown in the tube so I’m surprised at how beautiful it is in your swatch. Looks like the perfect shade for everyday.

    Shireen | Reflection of Sanity

    • Right? When I saw it just in the tube I felt like I wouldn’t like it, but it looks so nice on the lips.

  • I think the brown shade would be too much for your skin, but the lipstick is really pretty! You probably rock it well!

    • I built it up in the swatch picture so on the lips you can tone it down (which is how I like it) or build it up :).

  • I love the whole concept of the Esteé Edit, it is so innovating and they always come with great products that surprise me. I would love to try the Beam Team and their lipbalms, it looks like they put so much brain into their products, I love that.

  • I really like the idea of the liquid illuminators – I’ll have to go and swatch some of the shades :)

  • I love the look of the lipstick! I’m not a fan of brown shades either but it looks so wearable!

    Danielle’s Beauty Blog

    • It really is! I built it up in the swatch pic, but with just one or two swipes it’s much more sheer on the lips and looks so beautiful :)

  • The Beam Team moisturizer looks so interesting! Sometimes I feel like my face looks so dull, so it might be a fun way to perk it up a bit!

  • Super curious about the Estée Edit – they have some gorgeous looking products. I’ve been eyeing off the blushes and bronzers, but the pore vanishing stick would be cool to try too! x

    • I heard the bronzers are great! I just picked up one of their creme eyeshadow duos so I can’t wait to try it out :)

  • Bernadette

This estee edit sounds really interesting! It was definitely a brand I never payed much attention to but this edit looks gorgeous!
