The Greatest Cleanser of Them All…

I spoke briefly about my favorite cleanser in my beauty favorites of 2016, but I wanted to talk more about this cleanser in depth. The Boscia Purifying Cleansing Gel is my all time favorite and the greatest cleanser of them all [as far as I’ve tried so far, of course].

A bit about my skin type: I have combo skin so it’s not super dry, apart from some gruesome dry patches I suffered this winter, but it’s not super oily either. My skin is blemish prone, and it gets irritated easily at times, so I have to be careful with what I use. I mostly try to use refreshing skincare products. Nothing too creamy or oily otherwise my skin can have a bad reaction, and it sometimes feels suffocated, if that even makes sense.

This cleanser might not seem like much, but it’s a mighty one. It gets rid of my makeup so easily. It has a thin, liquidy gel consistency so it feels very nice and refreshing on the skin while being gentle. It has green tea so it’s antibacterial and makes your skin feel very calm. If my skin is throwing a tantrum, I reach for this because I know it will calm it down, and get it under control. It doesn’t strip my skin at all, and it contains botanical amino acids so it protects your skin’s moisture barrier, which is why my skin always feels soft, smooth, and hydrated afterwards.

If you’re on the market for a new cleanser, I highly recommend this one. It has quickly become holy grail status in my collection, which no other cleanser has ever done.

I do not like gel-type cleansers; I prefer foamy ones since I feel they clean my face better!

    • I’m the opposite. I feel like foam cleansers dry my skin out and make it feel tight.

  • Sounds really good, Boscia is on my skincare list to try anyway, but I will make sure to check out this cleanser: gel formulas which remain gentle enough for the skin are my favourites!

I am a big fan of Boscia and their Make-up Break-up cleansing oil, it’s the best thing to remove mascara imo! Thanks for sharing xx

I am definitely obsessed with using a cleansing oil to remove makeup. I love my sanctuary cleansing oil. I’ve heard great things about boscia, i definitely need to try it out.

  • I have a bit of an obsession with cleansers in particular, and I would sometimes buy three different ones a week trying to find the best for my skin. Then I discovered Real-u Australia and oh my gosh, I’m never going back!! I still love trying out other skin care products, even if I’ve found my favourite so I might have to give this one a go to see if it beats my current holy grail!

    lovely post!

    • Haha I feel you, girl. I have way too many cleansers at the moment, but I love trying out new ones. I haven’t heard of that brand. I need to see if they’re available in the States :)

  • I’ve never used any Boscia products and I really like the sound of this. Seems like our skin types are relatively similar too so thanks for raising awareness of this – I’ll definitely check it out!

P.s New to your log and loving it! Your photography is awesome too
