The Sephora Spring Sale Haul

Sephora VIB Rouge Spring Sale Haul
Sephora VIB Rouge Spring Sale Haul

I was an angel this time around. This year I didn’t go HAM during the Sephora spring sale even though there are a ton of things I want to try. But, the things I did pick up have been on my wishlist for quite some time now so I thought– why the hell not?

The Sephora Spring Sale Haul

I know. It’s, like, so shocking that everything I picked up this year was skincare related. I’m so shocked. Like, wow.

Drunk Elephant Babyfacial review

burn my skin off + start new_

If you read part 1 of my 30 day face mask challenge then you know that I finally got around to trying my Drunk Elephant Babyfacial sample. I’ve wanted this product since they announced it’s launch, but I decided to be good and wait until the sale to pick it up. This stuff  b u r n s  but I love it. Fingers crossed I’m going to see amazing results from this once I use it more consistently. It has a ton of acids that are great for chemically exfoliating your skin, plus a bunch of other great ingredients. Overall, it’s supposed to help with fine lines, wrinkles, texture, clarity, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and brightness. Fingers crossed. The full size came with a small deluxe sample of their Virgin Marula Oil, which I wasn’t expecting, but I’ve heard great things so I can’t wait to try it out. Especially in conjunction with one another.

_over the moon

I’m oddly attracted to all things lunar.. except lunatics (hehe). Maybe it’s because I grew up watching Zenon and dreaming I could live in a space stay (and low key wanted Protozoa to be my boyfriend). But, if a product has anything to do with space or the moon… I’m in. Herbivore Botanicals Moon Fruit is an overnight treatment that has a variety of great ingredients like fruit enzymes, hyaluronic acids, antioxidants, and more. You’re supposed to apply this after toning/ misting and before moisturizer so I’m thinking in place of serum? It’s supposed to help with dullness, uneven texture and skin tone, and dryness so I can’t wait to see how I get along with it. I’m hoping it’s out of this world good.

give me clean skin_

I’ve only tried one cleansing balm before– the Omorovicza thermal cleansing balm that is eye watering expensive. So I thought I’d give the Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm a try after hearing Jenn talk about how she loves it. I’m not someone who likes to invest a lot of money into cleansers because they’re on your skin for just a couple minutes. I’d rather invest in serums because those stay on your skin a lot longer. Anywho, I’ve always wanted to try stuff from this brand before I even saw them on Sephora’s website. I’ve tested it out a few times and let me say this– you need to try it! Review should be coming soon ;)

_face masking it

An impulse buy that I’m kind of regretting is the Peter Thomas Roth Mask Sampler KitIt has 6 0.47oz samples of their face masks and I bought it on a whim because it sounded really nice. But, I forgot to check the ingredients and a couple of their masks have some not-so-great ingredients like parabens and BHT. #buyersremorse. I bought it solely because of my 30 day mask challenge so YOLO. But, kinda still annoyed that I got it.

What did you pick up?? Let me know in the comments below!

  • You really did behave this time around, haha. I think I did too. I didn’t pick up as much as I thought I would! The colour of the Herbivore Moon Fruit is so pretty.. I swear I’d pick it up just because of that, haha! Can’t wait to hear more from you about these products!

  • Lovely picks! I didn’t splurge too much and really behaved myself this time around! Only picked up four items from Sephora but MAC is where I’ve been spending way too much money lately!

  • You were sooo well behaved during this VIB sale – I feel like I went a little cray last minute and picked up some minis from Drunk Elephant :B But overall I got restocks on my must haves and some new skincare bits I wanted to try! And also 2 lip products because they are forever my weakness. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the Herbivore Mask!!

  • I toyed with the idea of buying Moon Fruit but went with the Blue Tansy Mask instead. I also bought a moisturiser & a few lip options & a facial spray. I wish I had bought some Drunk Elephant products – next time! xx

  • I look forward to a full review on the Farmacy and Herbivore! Both have been under my radar for the past few months after reading so many lovely reviews.

  • I love these skincare products that you picked up, I am so excited to hear what you think of everything especially the Drunk Elephant Baby Facial, great haul. Wish there was a Sephora in the UK, or maybe I don’t as at least I am not spending money every day haha, fantastic post x

  • I actually kind of had my eye on that PTR mask set just because it seems like great value and I’m obsessed with minis as a way of trying lots of new things without breaking the bank, but if I’m honest with myself I only really want to try a couple of their masks and the rest don’t really appeal to me, but hopefully you end up being able to use and enjoy most of them since you’ve already bought it. I got minis of like half of the DE line recently (except the Babyfacial) and I’m yet to try them because I’m just coming to the end of most of what I’m using now, but I’m really keen to see what I think of them all because that line is getting so much good attention at the moment!

  • Quite certain I drooled over every s i n g l e product you got love! I had convinced myself that the Drunk Elephant products were over hyped… but you have me lusting after them again. I’ve also been loving Herbivore skincare lately as well. Their pink clay soap is my current favorite! xo
