Beauty Chat | What Are Your Top 3 Skincare Must Haves?

Taking care of your skin is extremely important, and I think it’s better to start early on because it’s easier to prevent future problems than cure them when they arise. Being a makeup junkie, I’m constantly wearing makeup and trying out different products, and that’s not always great for your skin. Thus, skincare is something I think everyone needs to splurge on and really find a routine, and products, that work well for their skin.

For today’s beauty chat I want to know what are your top 3 skincare must haves? What three products are an integral part of your skincare routine?

I love trying new skincare products, but find that these three products are my must haves that I really need in my routine.

Lush Tea tree water |
If you have sensitive, blemish prone, or irritable skin, I highly suggest this product. The tea tree in this toner really soothes the skin, and it’s also antibacterial so it keeps blemishes at bay.

Eye cream |
I still haven’t found my HG eye cream, but an eye cream is definitely a must have in my skincare routine. At the moment I’m switching between the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye cream and Lancome High Resolution Eye Refill-3x eye cream at night. I don’t know if I’m truly blown away with either eye cream, but they keep my under eyes moisturized, which is what I’m looking for since that will help prevent wrinkles in the future.

Rose hip seed oil |
I’m a big fan of skin oils instead of moisturizers, especially at night. The rose hip seed oil really keeps my skin moisturized and helps repair skin cells so it will slowly fade blemishes and scars over time. I think it really makes my skin look glowy and hydrated, which is why I reach for this at night.

    • I really like this toner from Lush! I’ve tried Breath of Fresh Air and Eau Roma, but the Tea Tree one is my favorite of the three.

I have a Rose Toner by Thayers and that’s seriously a must-have for me. Also, the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo is amazing! I also havent found my holy grail eye cream… still on the lookout…

    • I haven’t tried any of those things, but I love anything and all things rose. I’ll have to try out the Thayers Rose Toner :)

  • I am also using the EL Advanced Night Repair Eye and like you, it’s not my HG. I will finish it, but will move along and try something else once it’s empty.

    • Same! I’m using a sample size, and I probably won’t buy a full size one because it’s so expensive.

  • Oh you reminded me that I need to repurchase the Lush Tea Tree Spray :) I love that stuff!

    • Lolol I love it as well! I don’t even know how many bottles of it I have gone through.

  • I love the Tea Tree Toner! It’s so so good. At the moment I can’t live without my Ren Glycolic Renewal Mask, the Origins Retexturising Mask and the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion.
