A [potentially] monthly installment of what I’m currently loving.
What I’m Loving Vol. 2
When you have blemish prone skin, you’re always looking for products that soothe, but also multitask. This color correcting treatment has a green tinge so it combats redness, helps soothe stressed skin, and offers SPF protection. This has a green hue, but once blended in, it turns beige so it offers a slight amount of coverage and doesn’t make your face look green (unless you apply way too much).
My other lipsticks have been severely neglected lately because all I’ve been using are the Glossier Generation G lipsticks. They’re perfect for everyday and easy to apply sans mirror, giving the lips a wash of color. My current fave has been Like, which I didn’t think I would “like” as much as I do. In fact, it’s like love. It’s a powdery pink lip that surprisingly shows up on my lips and looks like my lips but better.
Like most Glossier products, this has become an everyday staple that I really love. The scent is feminine, but not super girly, which is why I like it. Every time I wear this, I get compliments so it’s sure to please.
I forgot how much I love this particular matte blush from MAC. It brings that “I just went outside in the cold winter air” flush of life to the cheeks, looking especially beautiful when the weather cools down.
This month has been a pretty minimal makeup month–what’s new?– so I’ve been leaning toward lighter everyday bases. This has a slight tint, is moisturizing on its own, and has an SPF of 40 so it’s been another go to base that replaces three different steps– moisturizer, SPF, and some kind of coverage.
