Last year I did the Vampy Lip Lineup featuring some of my favorite vampy lipsticks, but as I’ve fallen more in love with liquid lipsticks this past year (and so have so many other people) I wanted to talk about 5 liquid lipsticks for fall. I’ve included shades that are vampy, neutral, and unique for fall because some days you just don’t want to rock a dark vampy lip and want some variety.
Kat Von D Vampira |
This was also a part of my Vampy Lip Lineup last year, but that’s because it’s such a beautiful deep oxblood shade that screams fall-vamp-lip at you. The formulas of the Kat Von D liquid lipsticks is one of the better one’s out there and this shade in particular isn’t patchy, is opaque, doesn’t flake or crumble, isn’t too drying, and lasts for hours before it starts to fade and leave behind a stain.
Kat Von D Bow n Arrow |
When I saw this shade sometime last year, it had been discontinued, but now it’s back and is one of the most popular shades from the KVD range. It’s a beautiful nude that has a slightly purple-grey undertone to it. This shade also glides on smooth and opaque with one swipe and lasts on the lips for around 6 hours before fading on me.
ColourPop Instigator |
This is probably my favorite shade from their Ultra Matte Lip range that I own. I’ve really been into peachy lip shades this year, and this is a deeper peach shade that is more appropriate for fall. The ColourPop liquid lipsticks are only $6 so this is quite a steal! Stila Aria |
This is one of the most popular shades from Stila’s liquid lipstick collection. It’s a beautiful berry shade that applies creamy and then dries completely matte. I’ve done a review on Patina, Amore, and Bellissima, which are some other shades from their collection. These liquid lipsticks are also really great quality and long lasting. They are pretty drying, but bearable if you are used to matte lipsticks.
Dose of Colors Stone |
For something more neutral and pink-toned, Stone is a wonderful option. I have to say the formula of these is one of the best I’ve worn and am rather impressed with them. I think this is a great option for fall because it’s pink, but not summery or too springy. Instead, it’s more muted and slightly mauve toned, which makes it a great neutral for fall. I’ve done a review on Stone and Truffle, a more nude option.
