The Anastasia Beverly Hills Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit Swatches and Review

I knew I didn’t need another highlighting product, let alone a palette. But the heart wants what it wants. And the second I saw the Anastasia Beverly Hills Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit swatches, I knew it would be welcome in my family.

So you might have noticed it by now.. but my palette is semi-broken *insert tears.* I was so excited to get this. But when I opened it up, a cloud of highlighter escaped, and I was left with its remnants. It was a glowy mess. But, I still wanted to get this review up so you could see swatches, and read up on it if you’re interested in getting this guy.

The only other Glow Kit I can compare this to is Sun Dipped, which I held out on for so long. Then, I finally cracked. And I’m glad I cracked again because the Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit is going to become one of my go to’s. This is one thing I am sure of at the moment.

The formula is very silky and smooth, like the Sun Dipped palette. And it’s not patchy, powdery or chalky. Those are three major “no no’s” for me when I try a new highlighter. They apply smoothly and pigmented with a brush. And you can easily pack on more if you want a super intense glow. I would say they’re slightly more metallic than Sun Dipped, and they have more sparkle. But, they’re not chunky and they don’t look unnatural on the skin.

I think this palette would be great for all skin tones because they say you can use this on the eyelids as well. And I love that it has some unique shades like Kitty Kat, Forever Lit, and Daydream. Plus, Forever Lit satisfies my need for an outer-spacey-alien-glow without being too much; it’s just enough. Forever Young, Glo Getter, and 143 are really beautiful and more “normal.” I love these shades, but on me they do end up looking very similar– especially when applied on the face with a brush– so I wish they were a little more different to amp up the variety. But, they are beautiful and I love mixing and matching all the shades.

The packaging really gives me heart eyes. I love the pink color they chose, but I do wish it came with a mirror. I guess I will continue to keep my fingers crossed, and hope they add mirrors to their products in the future. Another thing I’m not a huge fan of is that their Glow Kits, and a lot of their products, are made in China. They’re sneaky and say Made in PRC  instead of flat out saying China. I wish they weren’t made there, but I will say that they’re still good quality. It’s a pet peeve of mine that personally is a little off putting when it comes to makeup. But obviously not enough because I do buy their products.

If you’re a highlighter junkie, then I think you need to add this to your wishlist. But don’t sleep on it because it is limited edition.
