BabeBoxx September 2015 Unboxing

BabeBoxx September 2015 Unboxing

I did a review on the first ever Babeboxx subscription box I received last month and wanted to share with you all what I got in my September box this month from BabeBoxx*. I have to say, I enjoyed this month’s box even more than the last one!

I’m a huge fan of oils, whether it be for my hair or my skin, and this month I received two!

The Sarah Faith Organics Happy Scalp Revitalizing Growth Oil is a hair oil that is supposed to soothe scalp irritations, which promotes hair growth. Having a happy scalp is vital for optimal hair growth!

  • Australian macadamia seed oil — which strengthens hair and prevents breakages
  • Sweet almond oil — adds moisture and shine
  • Castor oil — promotes hair growth and thickness.

These oils are all organic and good for you so I’m excited to try them out. I recently just went to my hairdresser and she kept telling me to do a hot oil treatment because my hair was so dry. I used to regularly do hot oil treatments, but have been lazy lately so it’s time I start up again!

The product I was most excited about is another oil: Meraki Botanicals Rose Grapefruit Oil. You can use this as a cleanser to remove makeup, but I like to apply a couple drops of this at night as a moisturizer. It is supposed to treat acne, fade scars and brighten skin so you know I’m all for it.

If you’re in a hurry and need a quick refresher, you’ll like these Luxe Lavender Towelettes from Box Naturals. You can use these towelettes as a makeup remover, to clean your hands, on your body as a refresher, wipe down products and also spot treat a silk blouse (according to the company). I’ve been keeping these in my handbag in case I need an emergency makeup wipe on the go! These are free of parabens, dyes, petrochemicals, sulfates and synthetic fragrances.

The last product I received is Kvoss NYC’s Face Potion. It contains hyaluronic acid, mango butter, and argan oil. Unfortunately, mine seems to have separated as if it were expired or something so I haven’t tried it out, but it seems to contain ingredients that are great for your skin.

Overall, I really like this month’s box. Personally, I like this box more than Ipsy, which I used to subscribe to, because they send products that I would actually use. Many of the products I received in my Ipsy bag weren’t shades I enjoyed, which is why I canceled my subscription.
