Can you believe that it’s already August?! I remember New Years Eve like it was yesterday. I remember the outfit I wore and the shoes I bought the next day LOL. Time has just been flying by. Although I’m no longer on a makeup spending ban, I’ve been doing pretty well! I didn’t buy too much stuff this month, but here is my beauty roundup of July. I did buy a couple skincare bits during the Nordstrom anniversary sale, but they’re not here yet so that doesn’t count :P.

I’ve been wanting to try a Marc Jacobs gloss for quite some time now, and I finally picked up the shade Hey You! It’s a gorgeous fuchsia cherry shade that is pigmented and super glossy. I love the minty scent and feeling on the lips! I don’t own any red lip glosses so this purchase was definitely justified ;).
In one of my orders I picked up a deluxe size sample of the Marc Jacobs Omega bronzer in Tantric. It’s such a gorgeous bronzer, and you know how I feel about Marc Jacobs. Their products are so good!
Summer has been (as always) super hot and sunny here in Dallas, and I’ve been on the hunt for a physical sunscreen that doesn’t leave a white cast. The Dr. Dennis Gross SPF 50 Spray has been a welcome resident in my collection. Even though I don’t forget to apply sunscreen on my face, I do forget to apply sunscreen on my arms and legs, which is why I love that this comes in a spray form– lazy girl approved!
Lately I’ve been on a mission to finish up my foundations. But, I couldn’t resist the Hourglass Vanish Foundation Stick because it was just too pretty and unique to my collection [review here]. Let’s just say I do not regret this purchase at all!
I am always looking for a way to cool down and feel refreshed during the summer. I picked up the Anese facial spray in Can I Speak To Your Manager and have been using it non stop. Whether I’m wearing makeup or not, it’s an amazingly refreshing pick me up throughout the day. [Discount code here]
Last time I did a standout beauty purchases of the month post because I bought way too much stuff, and only reached for a handful of it. I am happy to say that this month I only picked up products I really needed and use. So no beauty regrets for me this month! I still have a huge wish list. But, I really want to finish up some more stuff before buying more.
