Black Friday Beauty sale recommendations and wishlist 2017

Black Friday Beauty Sale Recommendations + Wishlist

“Beauty sale,” two words that always make me happy (other than “Dinner’s ready” on Thanksgiving). These are my Black Friday sale recommendations + the products that are on my own wishlist.

Black Friday Beauty Sale Recommendations

ARMANI BEAUTY:

If you’re going to splurge on high end makeup, you might as well save some money when you can. I love their Luminous Silk foundation (although I’ve been living on baby samples of it for years. Shout out to Sephora point perks. I stock up on the deluxe size samples whenever Sephora offers them.) I also love their Lip Maestro in 400. It’s a gorgeous blue-based red that looks even prettier when applied like a stain. Simply tap on a few dabs then blend with your fingers for an instantly pouty soft red lip.

BIOSSANCE:

This brand is mega popular on Sephora, and I’ve been lucky enough to try out their Squalane Peptide Eye Gel. If you’re like me and prefer gel consistencies over cream then try this out. No under eye milia here. I’ve also tried deluxe samples of their Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil, and it’s really nice and hydrating without being greasy or thick.

COMPLEX BEAUTY:

I talk about this brand a lot because their products are so good, and their packaging is aesthetic. Basically, my dream. They’re having an amazing 50% off birthday sale and I highly recommend their Afterglow complexion mist, Thirst Quencher hydra mask *duh*, Smooth Operator antioxidant mask, and Pout Protector lip mask. It’s actually really hard for me to pick my faves since all of their products have become my staples so you really can’t go wrong.

GLOW RECIPE:

I haven’t tried much from the brand, but their Watermelon Sleeping Mask is v nice. It has a gel consistency (my fave), smells like watermelon, and leaves the skin very soft and bouncy thanks to the hyaluronic acid, glycolic and lactic acids, and pumpkin extract.

GLOSSIER:

I’ve written a million posts about them, but one of my most recent ones features all the Glossier products I recommend and don’t recommend. Just add Glossier You to the recommend list. (shop with me!)

NEIMAN MARCUS:

Definitely take advantage of their $50 off $200 + 14% eBates cash back on more higher end products. I recommend splurging on a fragrance, bougie candle, or high end skincare. My fave brands include Byredo, Diptyque, Grown Alchemist, Luxe Botanics, and Sunday Riley. Not applicable on Chanel, sadly.

NOTO BOTANICS:

The Glow Stick in Gold is a go to of mine when I want a sheer wash of color on my lids. The fact that it comes in stick form is the best part since it’s quick and easy. For glowy skin, their Hydra Highlight is a good one. It comes in a little pot, and gives the skin a wet glowy look, which is what I personally love.

REN:

Their Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal face mask is one I like to use when my skin needs some brightness and glow. I have a lot of products that feature AHAs, and this is another one I love because it leaves my skin soft and smooth. If you’re looking for something to help prep your skin before makeup, I suggest their Perfect Canvas primer. It’s a priming serum that helps your makeup go on smoothly, and look smooth too. It doesn’t add a glow, but it doesn’t mattify the skin completely either.

THE STELL:

This is one of my favorite online beauty retailers. They have some awesome aesthetic-on-point brands that fall on the natural side of beauty, but are still effective. I discovered Overose candles, Olio e Osso balms, and Ursa Major through them, and love all 3 brands.

URSA MAJOR:

Their Face Tonic is a really great face mist with natural ingredients. I love spritzing this on at night after cleansing and let my skin soak it up. Another product I like from them is their Vitamin C Serum. It has a gel cream consistency that I like to use both morning and night to not only give my skin some antioxidants, but to help brighten and give my skin a nourished glow.

Black Friday Beauty Sale Wishlist:

My beauty wishlist keeps growing and growing, and I’ve really had to stop myself from making impulse purchases, but the heart wants what it wants. These are the ones currently on my wishlist.

GLOW RECIPE:

You know that I’ve been loving more K beauty recently, and their selection is amazing. A lot of the products on their site are tempting, but I really want to try the Whamisa Organic Flowers Toner, Blithe Soothing Green Tea Splash Mask, basically everything Huxley, J. One Jelly Pack, and the ID.AZ Dermastic Essence.

NOTO BOTANICS:

I love the look of soft stained lips, and the Oscillate Multi-Benne Stick, which is for eyes, lips, and cheeks, looks like the perfect shade for both a subtle flush or full on color. And, it comes in stick form– a favorite.

SANGRE DE FRUTA:

This brand seems very luxurious, and their face tonics and body creams look really nice. I love face mists so those are definitely on the wish list. Currently, I’m leaning toward the Neroli one the most.

SATURDAY SKIN:

Like any millennial pink lover, this brand has been on my radar for ages. I really want to try their Freeze Frame Beauty Essence, Balancing Act Skin Smoothing Lotion, Featherweight Daily Moisturizing Cream, and Brightening sheet masks.

SPACE NK:

I’m going to keep my fingers and toes crossed and hope that the buy one, get one half off deal applies to Byredo and Diptyque most of all.

THE STELL:

The Overose candles are bomb, and I highly recommend them. They were on my wishlist, but at the moment they’re all sold out (except for the one I already have *brb crying*). Instead, I’m looking at Herbivore Lapis oil and maybe some Grown Alchemist.

URSA MAJOR:

We all know how much I love face masks, but sometimes 20 minutes is just too long to wait to get what you want. The Bright & Easy 3 Minute Flash Mask has AHAs and enzymes so it’s fresh skin in a jiffy.
