Bobbi Brown Bronze Glow dupe

Bobbi Brown Bronze Glow Dupe

I can’t believe it’s been over a year since Bobbi Brown released her Scotch On The Rocks collection where Bronze Glow made it’s first debut. Now, it’s come back in different packaging for a limited time, which is why I thought it was time for a close dupe you could purchase as an alternative if you don’t want to fork over almost $50 or if you end up missing out.

This dupe isn’t exact, but it’s close enough to the point it’s a great alternative and a lot more affordable.

Bronze Glow ($46) is a beautiful coppery bronze gold highlighter. It’s extremely beautiful on the skin and although the name contains the word “bronze” it’s not so bronzey that it looks like a bronzer. It is pretty shimmery, but it’s very smooth so it doesn’t apply patchy or chalky.

Milani Tantasic in Fantastic Gold 01 ($8-11) is a drugstore dupe/alternative that’s just a smidge warmer than Bronze Glow. Technically it’s a baked bronzer, but on my medium/yellow/olive skin tone it works also as an illuminator. The finish of the Milani highlighter is not as sparkly, but it’s still pigmented and applies nicely. The texture isn’t as smooth either, but that doesn’t affect how it applies on to the skin. Even though it’s pigmented, you do have to build it up a bit more than Bronze Glow, but it adds a beautiful glow to the skin regardless.

I do really like both of these as highlighters, and although I think Bobbi Brown highlighters are worth the hype, sometimes you just want a good drugstore alternative, and in that instance Milani’s got your back.

Have you tried either of these highlighters? Let me know in the comments below!
