If you mention the words “liquid lipstick,” you’ve caught my attention. Now mention the words “comfortable liquid lipsticks,” and I’m all in. I’m sold.
Jouer recently launched a line of 16 long wear lip creme liquid lipsticks*. They say these liquid lipsticks are weightless, long wearing, offer full coverage, and have a soft touch finish.

I love a lot of liquid lipsticks, but I’ve never loved literally almost every shade from one brand’s line before. Jouer hit the color selection out of the park. They have 16 shades that range from everyday matte nudes, pinks, beautiful reds, and even some metallic shimmery ones that I haven’t seen elsewhere.
The formula of these is absolutely amazing! It’s more of a whipped/moussey consistency, which is why they have a soft touch/velvety finish that isn’t drying on the lips at all. All of the shades, even the metallics, apply smoothly, are opaque, buildable, comfortable, and apply easily and precisely because of the shorter doe foot applicator. The applicator doesn’t pick up too much product like some liquid lipsticks do so the application isn’t messy at all.
The shades are long wearing– around 7-8 hours on me– and transfer proof unless you’re eating anything with oil. In that case, it will fade a little, but it fades very evenly and still looks nice. The red shades are even more long wearing and leave behind a beautiful, even stain.
The only downside would be that they don’t have any bold vampy shades, which I know a lot of people love, but they have such a wide variety of everyday neutrals, reds and shimmers that I believe everyone can find a shade they love that flatters their skin tone.

My personal favorites, the crème de la crème, are Lychee, Pétale de Rose, Cassis, Melon, Dulce de Leche, and Cerise. I just can’t choose between those because they’re all so gorgeous!
The Verdict |
I’m absolutely obsessed with this collection and these liquid lipsticks! They’re definitely amazing and great for someone who likes a matte lip, but has a problem with most liquid lipsticks being too drying. If you’re on the hunt for some comfortable liquid lipsticks that will last you all day, definitely give these a go because you won’t be disappointed. Another plus side is they’re not as expensive as a lot of other liquid lippies on the market. They’re $18 each, which I think is a great price!
