I’m a little late on the bandwagon (as always) and just now got around to purchasing three of the Make Up For Ever eyeshadows. They are quite pricey, but highly talked about so I wanted to try them out for myself. I didn’t go crazy when ordering these eyeshadows because they are quite pricey, but I picked up three shades in three different finishes. Stick around for the Make Up For Ever eyeshadow swatches and review!
ME728 Copper Red| The first shade in the palette is a metallic warm coppery golden shade that will be a great lid color for the coming spring and summer months. This will be especially gorgeous when paired with an overall bronze makeup look and lots of lashes.
D826 Fig| The second shade in my little palette has a diamond finish, which means it is more sparkly than the others. I absolutely love this shade. It is a warm purpley burgundy color, which will be even more stunning to use during the fall.
M844 Burgundy| The last shade has a matte finish, which has to be my favorite eyeshadow finish out of the three, but I am also a matte type of girl on a daily basis. If you love a warm burgundy wine shade this is gorgeous. I love putting a dab of this in the crease, and I’m sure I will be slathering this all over my eyelids in the fall.

The Good| All three eyeshadows are extremely pigmented and creamy. They blend out really well, which is great for someone who isn’t the best a blending product out. This also means they are quick to use and you don’t have to sit there for hours until your arm hurts from blending. I didn’t experience any fallout and they also lasted the whole day on my lids without fading.
The Bad| Honestly, I don’t have anything bad to say other than the price tag. Each eyeshadow is $21 individually, but if you get more than one and purchase their eyeshadow holder for $1 you get a good discount.
The Verdict| Overall, these eyeshadows are really great quality and if you’re looking for some pigmented, creamy, and easy to use eyeshadows then I would check these out. I picked all of these out online without swatching in stores, but I am happy to report that I am extremely pleased with all three shades. Honestly, they are better than any shadows I have used (I haven’t used Makeup Geek eyeshadows yet, which I hear are amazing as well). MAC eyeshadows are popular and well known because they are great quality, pigmented, and easy to blend, but they do not hold a candle to these eyeshadows. I thought everyone was just over hyping these shadows, but honestly they are amazing! The colors I want are usually always sold out so I need to stalk Sephora’s website to purchase some more.
