Being a beauty addict is extremely hard, especially when you’re constantly bombarded by new products on Instagram and YouTube; I love it and hate it. Both social media sites have influenced my spending habits, but I’m not complaining because I have found some HG status products that I am ecstatic to have in my collection.

Dallas| I purchased this blush thanks to What Would Lizzy Do after she mentioned this in one of her videos. It’s a rosy bronze shade that is a great neutral and goes with many different looks. It isn’t matte, but it isn’t excessively shimmery; it adds a nice glow and radiance to the skin. I’m definitely glad I listened to Lizzy’s recommendation and picked this up.
Bronze Glow| Unfortunately, this was Limited Edition and part of Bobbi Brown’s Scotch on the Rocks holiday collection this past year. I saw YouTubers Farah Dhukai and Amanda Ensing talk about this, and the second they swatched it I knew I had to get on the Internet and Google my little heart out to find this online. If you can somehow get your hands on this, I definitely would. It is a warm bronze highlighter that adds a gorgeous glow, and I love the packaging!
Contour Kit| Unlike the first two products mentioned, no one specific convinced me that I needed this in my life. That being said, it has been raved about constantly on all of Instagram and YouTube, and I tried not to give in by telling myself that I already had enough highlighters and bronzers. But, you know me; I caved. This has been a fairly new addition to my collection so I’ve only used it a couple times, but I do really like it. All of the shades blend out beautifully and I like that you can mix the powders to create a custom shade. I think you get a good amount of product and diversity for the price.
Beet| Lip liners, especially from MAC, have been my jam lately and I have been buying (or adding them to my “makeup I need to buy” list) like crazy. When I saw Vivianna Does Makeup wearing this in one of her weekly vlogs on YouTube, I immediately knew that I would have to purchase this the next time I went to MAC. It is a gorgeous, you guessed it, vibrant beet red shade with pink undertones. I purchased it a couple months ago– just in time for the holidays! I really love how pigmented and creamy it is so it glides on beautifully. Plus, it lasts on the lips for hours and withstands both eating and drinking.
White Russian| Last is a lip gloss from Buxom that Nicole Guerriero convinced me to purchase. I’m not a fan of lip glosses so the fact that I went out and purchased this says a lot. Even though I don’t use this that much, I do love it on those rare days I want a glossy lip. It’s a creamy nude pink shade that is slightly sheer, but buildable, and it isn’t too sticky on the lips. This lip gloss is supposed to double as a lip plumper so it does feel tingly and cool on the lips. However, it doesn’t really seem to plump up my lips so I wouldn’t buy this if that’s why you want to try it out.
These aren’t the only products that YouTube/ Instagram made me buy so there will definitely be a part two coming sometime in the future!
