March Beauty Favorites

I haven’t done a favorites post in quite a while just because I have been using the same old products for so long now that I haven’t had anything new to show you, but this past month I “shopped my stash” and began using some products in my collection that I forgot about. Also, I have purchased a few new things that are definitely worth sharing with you all!

I have been reaching for the Bare Minerals’ Summer Bisque Concealer a lot this past month because it is great for brightening up under my eyes since it is a tad lighter than my skin. On top of that it has an SPF of 20 so it protects the skin under your eyes from the sun, which aids in wrinkle prevention.

Aura from Urban Decay’s Glinda Palette (LE) is a beautiful iridescent shadow. Half of it is a pale pink color, while the other half is lilac. I am loving lilac anything right now and this has been a great inner corner highlight. I cannot get enough of it and I haven’t seen any other eye shadow that is similar to this so I never want to use this baby up!

I haven’t used my NARS Super Orgasm blush in so long because I have been obsessed with all of my matte blushes from MAC, but this past month I have been trying to use products that I haven’t used in a while, and I am really glad that I rediscovered by love for Super Orgasm. It is a shimmery peachy pink color with chunky gold sparkles running through it. I find that the sparkles don’t really stick on to your cheeks much so it just leaves a beautiful flush on your cheeks. I can’t wait to try some more shimmery NARS blushes. I love all things matte, but lately I have really been liking shimmers.

Speaking of shimmers, I have been using my MAC Mineralized Skin Finish in Gold Deposit for an all over shimmery gold bronze. I used to despise this product (probably because I was really into a matte look before) and wanted to use it up quickly, but I actually really like this product now. It is shimmery, but it leaves your skin feeling very radiant, which is great for Spring/Summer.

I am a little late jumping on this bandwagon, but I recently discovered my new favorite lipstick: L’Oreal’s Fairest Nude. It is the perfect nude with a peachy undertone and it looks beautiful on olive complexions. Finding the perfect nude for someone with tan skin can be difficult, but this is just gorgeous!

I love me some thick brows (sigh, Lilly Collins) and to fill in my brows I have been religiously using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony. I use this with a stiff eyebrow brush and take the teensiest amount to fill in my brows and make them thicker. The mousse-like formula goes on like a dream and stays in place until you wash it off.
