November Play by Sephora review

November 2015 | Play by Sephora Review

November is almost over, but I had to talk about the Play by Sephora subscription box that I signed up for. For $10 a month you will receive different samples of products they carry at Sephora. I thought this was a better deal than Ipsy only because I shop at Sephora a lot and prefer trying out some of their goodies since I know and love so many of the brands they have.

Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil |

I have the “light” version of this, which I like so I’m interested in seeing how this one compares. I love oils, and I rely on them a lot during the winter, so I’m glad there was a sample size of this in the box.

Makeup Forever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Hydrating Primer |

I’ve heard such good things about the MUFE primers so I was also happy to see this product. So far, it feels really nice, hydrates the skin, and has a nice scent to it.

Buxom Full On Lip Cream in Dolly |

I have two of the Buxom Full On Lip Creams already, but since I’m not a huge gloss fan they’ve been collecting dust in my makeup collection. If you’re a gloss lover, you’ll probably really like these. They leave your lips feeling tingly and they’re pigmented and glossy. I definitely need to start wearing more gloss.

Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Rhubarb |

I love the High Pigment Pencils from Bite Beauty since they’re very pigmented and glide on beautifully; this shade is a plum rose. I think this will be a beautiful everyday shade for the winter because it’s not too light nor too dark. They’re supposed to have a matte finish, but I think they have a semi-matte finish since they have some creaminess to them.

Sephora Eye Pencil in Electric Blue |

This eye pencil is very creamy and pigmented so it’s perfect for adding a pop of color to the eyes.

Stella McCartney Stella Perfume |

I’m a floral perfume lover and this has rose, amber and peony notes, which is very beautiful. I do kind of wish this was a deluxe sample size, like the ones you can get at Sephora for 100-250 points, instead of just coming in a sample perfume tube, but it is a beautiful scent.

Overall, I’m really excited to receive the Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Rhubarb, MUFE Hydrating Primer, and Josie Maran Argan Oil, and I think $10 is a good deal for this box!
