A couple nights ago I felt a pimple on my chin coming to the surface so I quickly grabbed my homemade Rosewater, which has really been helping my skin, and spritzed it all over my face because rosewater has antibacterial properties so it helps keep pimples at bay. I prayed to the skin Gods that night as I went to bed, but unfortunately I still woke up with a painful red pimple on my chin. I tried to keep it clean in hopes that the pimple would subside a little by the end of the day, but that didn’t happen. So, I scoured through all of my skincare items that night and I came across some triple antibiotic ointment, which is most commonly known as Neosporin. I thought to myself, “couldn’t hurt,” and applied some with a q-tip then went to bed. In the morning my pimple had dried up and it didn’t hurt at all anymore; this was after one application! I applied it that night again and now the pimple is barely there. The last time I had a pimple in this same spot it wouldn’t go down or stop hurting for weeks even though I tried different methods including a sulfur ointment and witch hazel.
I highly suggest trying out some triple antibiotic ointment to calm down any pesky pimples that tend to pop up from time to time. There are lots of different spot treatment products out there, but pimples are caused by bacteria so what better way to treat it than putting an antibacterial cream on it? I have tried my fair share of products that claim to spot treat pimples and vanish them, but this is the best and least expensive product I have used that really did the job. I used to love Lush’s Grease Lightening spot treatment because the witch hazel and aloe vera gel in it would soothe any trouble spots, but it never really nipped any breakouts in the bud or reduced them in size like it claims to do. On top of that it was about fourteen dollars, while the Up & Up Triple Antibiotic Ointment is only about six dollars!
