Review| Bare Minerals Well-Rested Eye Brightener Concealer

Darn those pesky dark circles. Everyone (mostly) gets them. Everyone hates them. So, lets just thank God for concealer today because if you find a good enough concealer, it will cover those dark circles right up. Lately, I have been loving the Bare Minerals Well-Rested Eye Brightener Concealer, and I basically wear it everyday.

Bare Minerals Well Rested Concealer

The Good | The concealer has good coverage so if you have light to medium dark circles, this would cover up any pigmentation. Also, it is buildable so the more you add the brighter this will be under your eyes. The best way to apply this is to use a brush and pat the product on under your eyes. Sweeping this on can look a bit blotchy so make sure to pat it in. It also has an SPF of 20, which I really like because the skin under your eyes is very sensitive so the added protection is great!

The Bad | I don’t think this is great for anywhere other than under the eyes. It does crease, but it looks so good that it is worth it in my eyes. Even though the coverage is buildable, adding too much can make it cakey, which is something you don’t want. This product works best for light to medium tan skin tones. If you have a darker complexion then I would pass on this because it might be way too light and look too fake, but you can always ask for a sample at Sephora just to be sure!

The Verdict | I absolutely love this product. It looks really bright and sharp under the eyes and looks even better if you apply a concealer on underneath. If you are going for a full on glam look with bright under eyes like she-who-must-not-be-named-because-shes-everywhere (aka Kim K) then this will be great for you, especially if you have medium tan skin. If you have lighter skin then this won’t highlight as much, but it is still a great product.
