EDIT| In light of recent events, I will no longer be promoting this brand. Everyone has the right to form their own opinion, and although I did enjoy this eyeliner, I do not believe in what this company has done nor do I respect the CEO. I’m not going to write a big post about the issue, but if you Google “Lime Crime scandal” you’re sure to find out what I’m talking about. Although I did enjoy the some of their products and really wanted Cashmere, Riot, and the Venus Palette, I will not purchase them and will find other liquid lippies, eyeliners, and eyeshadows to spend my money on. I hope none of you were affected by the scandal, and if you were, I am very sorry! I hope this does not have a lasting effect on you and you can get your money back.

If you love bold and colorful makeup looks then you have probably heard of the makeup brand Lime Crime. Although Lime Crime is not sold in stores, at least not to my knowledge, it is widely popular online and continues to gain more recognition and popularity.
Anyone who knows me knows that I love colored eyeliners. From the ages of 13 to 18 black eyeliner had my heart and soul, but ever since I started University I began playing around with color, and now colored eyeliner is my favorite thing ever! So, of course, I had to try out some of Lime Crime’s products. I gravitated toward their colored eyeliners, but unfortunately every time I go online the colors I want are always out of stock. Luckily, I was able to get my hands on Citreuse, which is a gorgeous neon yellow.

Formula: The formula of this eyeliner is very fluid and runny. Sometimes, it can be very hard to work with as it is a bit streaky. If you are a newbie to liquid liner, this product will be harder to use, but with practice it should be fine!
Pigmentation: The liner is very pigmented, bright and a true neon yellow once applied a few times. When I first swatched the liner on my hand, it was a bit transparent, but the color was still stunning. The liner is buildable, and you will probably have to apply it a few times over to get the right opacity, consistency, and pigmentation.
Overall: I do really like this eyeliner, and I have never been able to find a dupe. The price ($14) is a little expensive for how much product you get, which is not too much, but since the color is so unique it is worth it in my eyes.
Have you tried any Lime Crime products?
Do you have any dupes for this shade?
