Herbivore Prism Glow Potion, a natural and gentle fruit acid liquid exfoliating serum

The Sephora Sale 2018 | My Recommendations

The Sephora sale is almost over so if you’re still contemplating what to get or what to splurge on, here are my two cents featuring my current stripped down essentials.

The Sephora Sale 2018 | My Current Essentials

Caudalie Brightening Essence*
Among other ingredients, it has glycolic acid to brighten and gently exfoliate and grape water to soothe and moisturize. It may feel and look like water, but it does so much more.

Commodity Nectar*
If you’re not ready to part with summer, but don’t want to smell like a fruity summer peach come fall, this fragrance is for you. It’s fresh and citrusy, yet floral with a side of woodsy. It’s like taking a stroll on a late summer evening after a thunderstorm. Fall hasn’t fully arrived just yet, but it’s on the brink. The weather is slightly still warm and has a cool breeze that smells floral and woodsy.

Dior Matte Lip Glow in Raspberry
If you’re into the blotted, popsicle lip then you need this in your life. The texture is soft and gives your lips a blurred, soft matte raspberry color. You can swipe on more for a more intense color, and even though it’s matte, it’s not uncomfortable.

Herbivore Prism Glow Potion*
A newer item to my collection, but it’s gentle, absorbs quickly, and helps fade post-blemish pigmentation so it had to make the list of things to pick up from the sale.

Ouai Rose Hair + Body Oil
It smells amazing (like roses, of course) and feels amazing too. I use this post-shower on both my body and the ends of my hair to make it softer and silkier, but not heavy or greasy.

Supergoop Unseen SPF 40*
I’m always keen to try new SPF products and this one, although it has silicone, an ingredient I don’t usually love on my skin, feels lovely. It leaves my skin velvety soft, doesn’t feel heavy or clog pores, and best of all is completely invisible. Bonus: it works amazingly well under makeup because of said silicone. Definitely check this one out if you want something that multi-tasks.

Youth To The People Adaptogen Moisture Cream*
This has been one of my go to moisturizers at the moment because of the texture and performance. It’s thick, but feels lightweight, absorbs quickly, and leaves your skin feeling buttery smooth.
