The sale I look forward to the most every year is now over, but I’m definitely happy with the things I purchased, and seeing everyone’s haul has me going to Sephora.com and adding things to my wishlist as we speak– it’s an addiction!
Here’s my Sephora VIB haul:
I’ve been wanting to get this since I first heard about it, but kept getting sidetracked by other stuff. I originally wanted to purchase the Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation everyone has been talking about, but my shade was out of stock unfortunately so I purchased this instead. I wanted this so that on days I don’t want to wear too much makeup I can just add a few drops of this to an oil, serum, SPF or whatever and still get light coverage.
I’ve never used a corrector under my eyes before so I thought I would check this out. I love Becca products, and I’m happy to say that I’ve used this once already and really liked it. It really brightened up my under eyes and I honestly felt like I didn’t even need to add concealer on top of it.
I’m running low on my NARS Creamy Concealer so I thought I’d give this one a shot since it’s cheaper and so many people have been raving about this. I wanted the Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer, but settled for this one instead. I used it once already and love it so far! Maybe even more than the NARS one… ;)
I already own one of these in the shade Au Revoir, but I’m going through a copper eye shadow phase at the moment (post on that probably coming soon ;)) so I had to pick up this shade. It’s a beautiful sparkly coppery eyeshadow stick that is very creamy and actually cool to the touch because it is infused with Alpine snow water from the Swiss Alps that is meant to hydrate your eyelids and soothe them.
This shade is very summery since it’s a bright tangerine red infused with golden bronze, but I had to have it, and even though it doesn’t scream fall/winter, I will be wearing this for sure!
Another Becca product because I’m obsessed with their brand. I even accidentally called my dog named Bella, Becca because I was thinking about makeup LOL. I’ve heard great things about these blushes and of course I chose a peachy nude blush because that’s my go to.
I’ve been staring at Kevyn Aucoin makeup online for over a year now so I finally picked up my first item from his collection. This duo, which is meant for contouring and highlighting, is extremely tiny, but I’m excited to try it out! I definitely want to try more products from his range.
Lolita Liquid Lipstick Duo |
This was a last minute impulse buy online even though the last thing I needed was another liquid lipstick. I have a full sized Lolita liquid lipstick, but it’s from the “bad batch” so I thought I would try these mini ones out. It comes with the current Lolita they sell and Lolita II, which is more orange/terracotta in tone, and will be added permanently to the range sometime in the near future.
