I can’t believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving, but I am extremely excited not only for stuffing and mashed potatoes, but for this Thanksgiving makeup feast I will be slapping on my face! I always look forward to the holiday season; it’s my favorite time of the year! Most people I know are summer people because they love the sun and warmth, but I’m definitely a fall/holiday season type of girl who enjoys crisp cold air, warm clothes, and that holiday feeling in the air.
When I think of Thanksgiving, I think earthy warm orange and brown tones– I hope I’m not the only one– and these are some of my Thanksgiving makeup picks.
NARS Persia | [review] This just screams Thanksgiving to me because it’s such a beautiful matte, warm burnt orange shade. It just gives the perfect pop of warm orange in the crease.

Galapagos is a dark and deep brown shade with golden shimmer running through it. It looks amazing packed on to the lid with Persia running through the crease for a pop of color that will mellow out the look of this dark, deep eyeshadow.

This is fairly new to my ColourPop family, but it’s such a beautiful penny copper eyeshadow with an ultra-metallic finish. What’s not to love?

This is a gorgeous teracotta rose shade that also reminds me of Thanksgiving because of it’s warm orange tones. The only downside? It was only available in that mini Lolita duo, which was limited edition and is now sold out. The good news? This shade will become permanent I believe early next year. If you have Lolita, which is a browny rose shade, it would also be great for Thanksgiving!
