Another year older, and hopefully smarter… but that’s debatable.

The Birthday Wishlist
Sunday Riley UFO
[Available at Sephora, Space NK, Barneys]
On my last wishlist I talked about the Luna sleeping oil. Fast forward a few months and I’m crushing on another Sunday Riley oil. I gave this a whiff in stores, and boy that smell is not pleasant. But, black cumin seed is one of the first ingredients, and that’s really good for blemish prone skin so of course I want to try this out. BTW, I thought the upside to getting older was that you no longer get blemishes…. Anyway, they offer this in a half ounce bottle for $40, which isn’t too hefty considering you don’t need much product. Hopefully it’s out of this world. Come on, I had to ;).
Chanel Coco Noir
[Available at Sephora, Nordstrom, Dilliard’s, Boots, John Lewis]
The last thing I need is another fragrance, but fancy bottles, and the fact that I’m falling in love with scents that aren’t just floral or sweet, has me itching to try out more.
Byredo Rose of No Man’s Land
[Available at Barneys, Net-a-porter, Neiman Marcus, Harrods]
The Byredo obsession is real. Ever since I tried Gypsy Water, I’m constantly going to the Byredo website and clicking through all of their fragrances. I know $150 for a small bottle of perfume is absolutely nuts, but they don’t call it an obsession because you’re thinking rationally. Not only do I love rose scents, but I love the name. So very fitting if you’re a nasty woman.
Byredo Mojave Ghost
[Available at Barneys, Net-a-porter, Neiman Marcus, Harrods]
Perhaps I want this because it has the word “ghost” in the title, and I have a long standing love affair with all things ghostly ever since I was introduced to Casper the friendly ghost. Yes, I’m about to be 25. Yes, I just referenced a 90s tween movie. But, the description sounds pretty inviting too.
Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm
[Available at Nordstrom, Selfridges, Revolve, Barneys, Net-a-porter]
Two weird things happened this winter. One, I discovered that my left hand is severely drier than my right hand, and two, I have fallen in love with hand creams. Your hands show signs of aging pretty quickly if you’re not careful so this is a welcome infatuation.
Drunk Elephant B-Hydra
[Available at Sephora, Dermstore]
My skin loves gel consistencies, and I’ve been wanting to try Drunk Elephant for a hot minute. This is marketed as an intensive hydration gel and you can apply it alone or mix it in with your other oils, serums and creams. The ingredient list is pretty impressive, and I’m so glad this doesn’t have added fragrance.
Are you shocked?…
…not one makeup product on my wishlist. I’m certainly shocked. I’ve always liked skincare, and made sure to remove my makeup, tone, use an eye cream and moisturize for several years now. But, I’ve never been this in love with trying out new skincare products and paying more attention to ingredients. There are definitely several makeup bits I want to try like the new Burberry and Marc Jacobs liquid lipsticks. But, I know I can do without them, and want to finish up several makeup products before I start buying more. My skincare cabinet is overflowing, but hey, it’s an obsession, remember.
