Estee Edit product review

#beautyattitudes with The Estée Edit | The Review

They say that Aquarians shy away from commitment. I can say that’s 100% true about me– especially when it comes to makeup. Sure, I repeatedly tend to veer towards the same brands when purchasing new makeup. This is why I have 100 MAC lipsticks and too many Hourglass powders to count. But, the beauty junkie in me is always ready to try new products and brands. That’s why I was super excited when I had the chance to try out some Estée Edit products.

The Estée Edit Roundup Review

Estee Edit Beam Team in Sheer Golden-Beige review
Estee Edit Beam Team in Sheer Golden-Beige

The Beam Team Hydrate + Glow is an illuminating moisturizer that you can use all over the face, mixed in with foundation or as a liquid highlight. Knowing me, and my love for the glow, you know I’m using this all. over. my. face. It is hydrating so it has been great for my combo skin and definitely gives me a glow! Something unique about this is that a little cream highlighter is hidden in the cap. Just flip the top open and apply the cream highlighter on the high points of your face.

Estee Edit Pore Vanishing stick review
Estee Edit Pore Vanishing stick

The Pore Vanishing Stick you can use as a primer to blur pores, alone, or on top to refresh makeup. I haven’t used it on top of my makeup, but I have used it under. It does blur the pores a bit and provides a smooth velvety canvas for your makeup to glide on top of. I don’t have oily skin so I can’t say that this keeps oils at bay, but it did mattify my skin. I like that this has a sheer pigment in the center (that supposedly fits all skin tones). It’s great for no makeup days when you want your skin to look nice, but don’t want to wear foundation.

Estee Edit Flash Illuminator in Day Light review
Estee Edit Flash Illuminator in Day Light

The Flash Illuminator is a highlighting cream and the different shades can be used for different purposes. I received the shade Day Light that works nicely as either a cream blush or a blush topper. I do think I’d prefer the shade Spotlight more since you can use that one for strobing.

Estee Edit Lipstick 05 In The Buff
Estee Edit Lipstick 05 In The Buff

The Barest Lip Color is a lipstick/lip balm hybrid. It gives a nice wash of color, and the muru muru butter and flower petal waxes leave your lips moisturized. The addition of the real flower petal waxes also gives the lipstick a beautiful floral scent, which I personally really love! I have the shade In the Buff, a brown mauve. I surprisingly really love this even though I generally don’t like brown lipsticks on myself.
