The neglect my other lipsticks have been feeling is r e a l and it’s all due to these Glossier Generation G Lipsticks. I have every shade except for Leo, a warm cocoa brown.
Glossier Generation G Lipsticks | Cake, Crush, Jam, Like, Zip

Honestly, I didn’t think I’d love these lipsticks as much as I do. The first one I picked up, Crush, a raspberry pink, was love at first swipe, and along the way I’ve picked up and fallen in love with Jam, a deep berry, Like, a light pink, and Zip, a poppy red. I also have Cake, a subtle peachy nude that looks very natural on my lips, and almost barely there. I like it, but it’s not my favorite out of the bunch simply because it doesn’t stand out on my lips as much.
It’s hard to choose my most favorite because I love each shade for different reasons. Like is a beautiful go to for everyday; Crush adds a flush of life to the lips; Zip is a go to at night when I want a red lip that is easy, fuss free, and looks diffused; and Jam is a perfect for when you want a soft berry lip.
They all have a satin matte consistency without being flaky and crumbly, and they are on the sheer side (but buildable) so they look soft and blotted, which is why they’re my go to lipsticks. They’re not drying compared to other matte lipsticks, but after a few hours they can feel a little dry. If your lips are hydrated and soft to begin with, I don’t think it’ll be a problem. Longevity wise: if you’re not eating or drinking then they are pretty long lasting. If you’re sipping and nibbling then these will wear off easily. But, they’re so easy to swipe on, plus they’re small and easy to fit into any purse, making them great on-the-go.

If you’re on the hunt for new, easy, perfect-for-everyday lipsticks then I highly recommend the Glossier Generation G lipsticks.
