The “Help, I Overslept” Beauty Essentials

I’ve been a night owl since I was a kid. I remember being around 6 or 7, laying awake in bed at night because I just could not sleep and loved the night so much (even though I was afraid of the dark). When my parents would come check on my sister and I, my sister would be fast asleep, but there I was, wide eyed, staring at them, not a wink of sleep in my eye. Occasionally on these nights my parents would let me sneak out of bed, my sister still sound asleep and completely clueless. The three of us would pop some popcorn, put on a movie, and watch it until I fell asleep. Ah, nostalgia..

Because I love staying up, and have a hard time falling asleep at times, I oversleep and hit that snooze button a few too many times so I’m left trying to get ready in a rush. For those mornings, these are the “help, I overslept” beauty essentials I turn to.

Bumble and Bumble Pret-a-Powder and Anese Body/Hair Elixirs… for when you don’t have time to wash your hair/shower in the morning (it happens to the best of us).

Complex Beauty Afterglow complexion mist… for a super quick skin pick me up that will brighten your dull, freshen up your skin, and prep it for makeup.

Hourglass Vanish Foundation Stick… for a quick base that blends quickly, offers full coverage & doubles as concealer.

Glossier Haloscope… for a beautiful glow that you can use on the tops of the cheeks, on the inner eyes to brighten them up or all over the lids for a wash of glistening color.

Burberry Lip & Cheek Bloom or Becca Beach Tint… for a quick flush of color on the lips and cheeks.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer… for adding some dimension back into the face. It lets you skip the highlight if you’re super low on time by giving your skin some luminosity and doubles as an eyeshadow.

Benefit Roller Lash… for long, lifted lashes minus the eyelash curler.

Glossier boy brow... for quick, naturally groomed brows in a jiffy.
