I was an angel this time around. This year I didn’t go HAM during the Sephora spring sale even though there are a ton of things I want to try. But, the things I did pick up have been on my wishlist for quite some time now so I thought– why the hell not?
The Sephora Spring Sale Haul
I know. It’s, like, so shocking that everything I picked up this year was skincare related. I’m so shocked. Like, wow.

burn my skin off + start new_
If you read part 1 of my 30 day face mask challenge then you know that I finally got around to trying my Drunk Elephant Babyfacial sample. I’ve wanted this product since they announced it’s launch, but I decided to be good and wait until the sale to pick it up. This stuff b u r n s but I love it. Fingers crossed I’m going to see amazing results from this once I use it more consistently. It has a ton of acids that are great for chemically exfoliating your skin, plus a bunch of other great ingredients. Overall, it’s supposed to help with fine lines, wrinkles, texture, clarity, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and brightness. Fingers crossed. The full size came with a small deluxe sample of their Virgin Marula Oil, which I wasn’t expecting, but I’ve heard great things so I can’t wait to try it out. Especially in conjunction with one another.

_over the moon
I’m oddly attracted to all things lunar.. except lunatics (hehe). Maybe it’s because I grew up watching Zenon and dreaming I could live in a space stay (and low key wanted Protozoa to be my boyfriend). But, if a product has anything to do with space or the moon… I’m in. Herbivore Botanicals Moon Fruit is an overnight treatment that has a variety of great ingredients like fruit enzymes, hyaluronic acids, antioxidants, and more. You’re supposed to apply this after toning/ misting and before moisturizer so I’m thinking in place of serum? It’s supposed to help with dullness, uneven texture and skin tone, and dryness so I can’t wait to see how I get along with it. I’m hoping it’s out of this world good.

give me clean skin_
I’ve only tried one cleansing balm before– the Omorovicza thermal cleansing balm that is eye watering expensive. So I thought I’d give the Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm a try after hearing Jenn talk about how she loves it. I’m not someone who likes to invest a lot of money into cleansers because they’re on your skin for just a couple minutes. I’d rather invest in serums because those stay on your skin a lot longer. Anywho, I’ve always wanted to try stuff from this brand before I even saw them on Sephora’s website. I’ve tested it out a few times and let me say this– you need to try it! Review should be coming soon ;)

_face masking it
An impulse buy that I’m kind of regretting is the Peter Thomas Roth Mask Sampler Kit. It has 6 0.47oz samples of their face masks and I bought it on a whim because it sounded really nice. But, I forgot to check the ingredients and a couple of their masks have some not-so-great ingredients like parabens and BHT. #buyersremorse. I bought it solely because of my 30 day mask challenge so YOLO. But, kinda still annoyed that I got it.
What did you pick up?? Let me know in the comments below!
