I debated and debated (and debated) on whether or not I should write this post because are hauls even helpful? But, here I am for some quick beauty show and tell. Let me know what you got so I can start prepping for their next sale ;)
The Sephora VIB Sale Haul (2017)
I had a little Tom Ford moment during this sale. I knew I wanted the Moodlight Duo since I’ve been lusting after it from afar for a couple years now. So, I took the plunge and treated myself. But then their gel bronzer caught my eye as well. I’ve also lusted after the Chantecaille Radiance Gel Bronzer for ages as well. It’s $7 cheaper, but you only get .6 oz of product versus 2.5 oz in the Tom Ford tube. Hopefully both Tom Ford products are amazing. I haven’t dug into them just yet.
For the days my hair needs some smell good moisture, I picked up their Rose Hair and Body Oil. It smells nice, and isn’t super oily so it won’t leave your hair or your body greasy. I like using this on the ends of my hair. I try not to blow dry my hair, which means the ends veer toward looking mangy at times. That’s when this oil comes in handy.
YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE.
I didn’t have the best luck with their cleanser, but I thought I’d give their Age Prevention Eye Cream a try. I love the packaging, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the product inside actually works, feels good on the skin, and doesn’t cause any milia.
It’s been a while since I’ve had a good, proper, full size mascara so I thought I’d splurge on the Dior Addict It-Lash Mascara. I’ve been living off of mascara samples and the Maybelline Lash Sensational, which isn’t bad, but it isn’t my favorite. Let’s hope this one is better and gives more of an oomph to my drab, straight lashes.
Two things I wish I purchased: the Burberry Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Foundation and the Tatcha Essence Plumping Skin Softener. If you’ve tried either, let me know how you like them!
What did you pick up? Let me know in the comments below!
