There are some products that make their way into your heart no matter the price tag because they work so beautifully and really deliver gorgeous results. Then there are the ones you stare at and sit and stew about. Are you worth the money? Are you worth those sleepless nights where I toss and turn because I don’t know how I feel about you and if we can make this work?
So, are you worth it, Tom? Are you dazzling up these cheekbones for $82 and doing it like no one else can?

Is Tom Ford Moodlight Worth The Splurge?
Basically.. this guy is a doozy.
There are two highlighter pans. The rose gold side is undoubtedly gorgeous. There’s nothing uniquely amazing or special about it (other than being Tom Ford, of course), but it is very beautiful, and gives the skin a gorgeous radiant healthy sheen. The lighter almost white side, though, is a complete bust when applied to the skin. The swatch can be deceiving because it looks so very glowy and promising. It’s a pale white gold, reminiscent of NARS Albatross, but when applied to the skin it doesn’t give that glowy “ooh, ahh” the swatch does. It’s so very subtle, and so expensive for being barely there. For being half of an $82 highlight (so $41– math!), I expect way, way, w a y more glow. It’s basically untraceable on my skin. Even Liam Neeson couldn’t track it down.
Overall, one side is nice, the other is not, so I personally wouldn’t shell out the money for this. If you have the disposable income to spend a lot of money to only enjoy one side, then of course do you. But if you’re feeling spendy like I was, and really want to splurge on something gorgeous then I would pass on this– maybe try some of these high end products that are worth the splurge instead because they perform beautifully.
